Deets: NBC will host a 3-hour Saturday Night Live reunion special on February 15, 2015. Several former hosts and cast members and guests will be expected to make an appearance. Paul McCartney, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, NSYNC, Paul Simon and Taylor Swift will be performing.

The show's 40th anniversary will also be honored with "Saturday Night Live: The Exhibition," an immersive exhibit which features "original scripts, set pieces, props, costumes, masks and interactive elements" from legendary SNL sketches. The showcase will debut at New York City's Premier on 5th exhibition center this spring.

Last but not least, after 40 years on the air, ‘SNL’ is also finally getting the full-fledged documentary treatment.The highly anticipated world premiere of LIVE FROM NEW YORK! will open the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, on April 15. Directed by Bao Nguyen and produced by JL Pomeroy andTom Broecker, the documentary will explore the show’s impact and influence on the American zeitgeist for the past 40 years. From SNL’s early, ground-breaking years powered by Lorne Michaels and his cast of unknowns (and future superstars) through its evolution into a comedy institution.
