Hoop-Life’s star-studded media event will once again take place at the USC Galen Center, LA on Sunday, August 30th, 2pm to 4pm. This unique charity basketball tournament brings together some of LA’s most earnest and talented young athletes ages 13 to 15. Professional athletes, coaches, and celebrity guests will coach the youth teams. Additionally, the event will host a halftime performance, other celebrity entertainment, autographs, prize giveaways, live music, and local food vendors.

All it Takes was co-founded in 2010 by Lori Woodley and her daughter, acclaimed actress, Shailene Woodley, as a conduit to create powerful, measurable, and meaningful change for youth in the LA area and beyond.

The need for reducing unkind and bully behavior, suicide, and drug use is proven in the research, the media, and all of our personal experiences. All it Takes has a solution and the contributions from HOOP-LIFE directly support this significant need. All it Takes activates projects in schools and communities that support our mission to empower youth’s emotional intelligence through increased resiliency, personal accountability, genuine kindness, and a desire to be responsibly involved in all areas that they are passionate about. In turn, our youth have a direct contribution in creating safer schools and communities for all.
