Deets: The 66th Berlin International Film Festival will take place from February 11 to 21, 2016, but starting in January the Berlinale posters will be displayed at Potsdamer Platz and across the city to set the mood for the festival.
Together with the artists of the international film world, the bear is conquering the Berlin cityscape. The six poster designs feature the fleeting encounters of individual night owls with the bear in the city, captured photographically - fixed between reality and fiction.
On 11 February 2016, Hail, Caesar! by Academy Award winning director duo Joel and Ethan Coen will open the 66th Berlin International Film Festival.
With 30 films confirmed to date, of which 24 are fictional and six will run in Panorama Dokumente, two-thirds of this year’s Panorama has now been announced. An extra seventeen works will screen in the Teddy30 anniversary programme (see press release). The entire programme will be finalised in the coming days.
