Deets: Washington Humane Society’s (WHS) Fashion for Paws (F4P) 10th Annual Runway Show is slated as D.C.’s most fashionable event with close to 1,000 guests in attendance of the nationally acclaimed, one-of-a-kind fashion and luxury brand event, held Saturday, April 23 at the Grand Hyatt Washington. This year’s event raised $352,000 to benefit WHS’s critical programs and services. WJLA’s Dr. Katy Nelson of “The Pet Show” and Emmy award-winning senior political reporter, Scott Thuman, hosted this year’s show, as “Fundraising Models” escorted their fashionably dressed dogs down the runway. The event included an awards ceremony in which the top fundraisers were awarded as follows:
1. Model Washingtonian of the Year: Jessica Abrahams | $21,344 raised
2. First Runner Up: Anthony Waddell | $18,222.95 raised
3. Second Runner Up: Tara Kovalski| $18,146.50 raised
