Party guests will sip on one of eight signature hand-crafted cocktails, enjoy delicious food options like the E-Row Coco cocktail or the Juicy Lucy burger from the grill, and take in the jaw-dropping views of Downtown at the only rooftop pool and bar in Dupont Circle.
This event is appropriately scheduled during Passport DC 2017 – a month-long journey around the world highlighting DC's thriving international diplomatic community and its lively and varied culture. Celebrated annually in May, which is International Cultural Awareness Month in Washington, Passport DC is 31 days of programming by 70 embassies and more than 40 of DC's very best cultural institutions.
About LLS Man & Woman of the Year
Each year, in communities across the country, dedicated candidates engage in an exciting competition to earn The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) "Man & Woman of the Year" titles. Raising funds for LLS blood cancer research the candidates compete in honor of children who are local blood cancer survivors, the Boy & Girl of the Year.
Every dollar raised counts as one vote and the titles are awarded to the man and woman with the most votes at the end of 10 weeks. Top local fundraisers become eligible to win the national titles. More than $184 million dollars has been raised through MWOY for the LLS mission since the campaign’s inception.
