Affair: Legendary Beverly Hills 2017 Garden Tour

When: Saturday, May 20, 2017 @ 10AM-4PM

Hot Spot: Virginia Robinson Gardens, Beverly Hills, CA

Deets: For the past twenty-nine years, the Friends of Robinson Gardens has organized the annual “…into the garden” Benefit Tour, to raise funds for the Virginia Robinson Gardens historical estate. This event is truly unique in that ticket holders have the opportunity to visit selected private home gardens rarely seen by the public. The affair peaks mid-day with a catered luncheon prepared by The Kitchen for Exploring Foods at the Virginia Robinson Gardens, at which time the Friends honor a member of the community as the Grand Marshal. Throughout the estate, ticket holders can view the mansion’s historical rooms uniquely embellished by premier interior designers and florists. The luncheon program includes a fashion show of the latest looks by Theory, as well as an opportunity to purchase unique gifts at our boutique located on the tennis courts.

This year the Garden Tour will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Private gardens will inspire our patrons, and a colorful boutique and bountiful buffet will ensure the loveliest day of the year at the most incredible public garden in Los Angeles County. The Friends of Robinson Gardens are thrilled to be organizing an event full of history and fresh blooms. Join us!

WHAT TO WEAR
Many of our enthusiastic attendees in the past have dressed to the theme, and this year’s “Legendary Beverly Hills” is no exception. We happily welcome attendees who are inspired by the glamour of movie stars and fashion from a bygone era ~ Beverly Hills style! Of course, it is not at all required to dress to the theme to attend. We do encourage attendees to dress comfortably with walking shoes when visiting the various gardens. Many gardens have stone paths or grass. The month of May in Southern California is typically quite warm, so be prepared with layers if the morning is cool, and we definitely recommend that attendees wear sunscreen and a hat!
