Deets: At the last minute, the location is given to thousands of friends and acquaintances who have been patiently waiting to learn the “Dîner en Blanc's” secret place. Thousands of people, dressed all in white, and conducting themselves with the greatest decorum, elegance, and etiquette, all meet for a mass “chic picnic” in a public space. 

Over the course of an evening, the diners enhance the function and value of their city's public space by participating in the unexpected.

Beyond the spectacle and refined elegance of the dinner itself, guests are brought together from diverse backgrounds by a love of beauty and good taste. Le Dîner en Blanc recalls the elegance and glamour of court society, and diners engage one another knowing they are taking part in a truly magical event. There are no disruptions: no car traffic, no pedestrian traffic, except for the occasional amazed and astonished looks from passersby at the scene unfolding before them. And we, as they, wonder whether it's all not a dream…

Le Dîner en Blanc is quite different from other evenings. Seats are allotted on site in a very specific manner. - Once confirmed, the presence of each guest thus becomes essential and mandatory, whatever happens and regardless of weather conditions; - Colour: white only; - Bring a picnic basket, white table cloth, table (between 28”x28” and 32”x32”) and foldable chairs (white); - Arrive and depart by bus or organised public transit; - Bring one’s refuse when departing and leave the place as clean as it was upon arrival.

Who You May Spot: Chic attendees. Celebs who have attended previous dinners include Gabrielle Union and Nicole Richie.

Hint For The Average Socialite: Cost is $32/person and $8 membership fee. One must know a member or be drawn from the waiting list to receive and invitation.

- Phase 1: Tuesday, June 30th at 3pm until Monday, July 6th at midnight. (Last year members & Leaders’ guests)
- Phase 2: Tuesday, July 7th at noon until Thursday, July 8th at midnight (Sponsored guests of last year members)
- Phase 3 (Waiting list phase): Thursday, July 9th will be split in 2 parts to avoid server overload. The same number of available spots will be given to Phase 3A and 3B.
- Phase 3A: At noon, people who registered on the waiting list in 2012 & 2013
- Phase 3B: At 3pm, people who registered on the waiting list in 2014 & 2015

LA: Dîner en Blanc LA is the most prestigious public locations in the city. Dîner en Blanc returns to Los Angeles, on Thursday, August 27, 2015. For this second edition, close to 2400 revelers are expected at a new and secret location.

The 2013 inaugural edition of this très chic picnic attracted close to 1300 cultural enthusiasts for a memorable evening on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. This annual secret affair, promises another unforgettable evening of elegance, beauty, and magic, as it takes over an undisclosed public space whose location is revealed only minutes prior to the commencement of the event.

- Phase 2: Tuesday, August 18th at 3PM       (Sponsored guests of Phase 1 members)
