DC High Heels Drag Queen Race

Make your way to Dupont Circle to see who is crowned the speed queen of the Drag Queens. Race spectators start gather around 6pm for the 9pm race. Bring your sense of humor and your camera to pose with the athletes pre, post, or even during the race. After the cheering on the men in stilettos make your way to the many bars, restaurants, and nightclubs in the area. Many offer drink specials in honor of the event, and you’ll probably even see some of the athletes!

Night of the Living Zoo

Night of the Living Zoo offers you after hours access to the zoo with a different perspective. The 21+ event features live music form local DJs and bands as well as offering local food trucks and craft brews. Blend in by dressing up as one of the zoo animals or stand out. Gather your favorite ghouls and goblins and get ready to bar-hop through Dupont’’s most popular bars for a full day and night of drinking! The specials end at 11PM, but the party goes on all night. Free admission to all participating bars until 1AM. We recommend wearing your spookiest, scariest or most creative costume! There will be costume prizes for the most festively dressed participants.
