Deets: The National Grape Harvest Festival of Argentina has been held in the Mendoza province for many years.

It is a part of a group of festivities that are celebrated all over the 18 departments which make up the Mendoza province, during the months of December, January and February. The festivities culminate in an impressive Central Act in the city of Mendoza (province capital) during the first days of March.

The Central Act, which is staged in the Frank Romero Day Greek Theater located in the General San Martin Park, is the main attraction of this great Mendocino festival.

This event starts with a marvelous artistic spectacle of dance, lights and music, where hundreds of actors and dancers display their art in a gigantic show. It continues with the election of the National Grape Harvest Queen and ends with a magnificent exhibition of fireworks that dance to the rhythm of the music for more than 20 minutes.

So significant is the National Grape Harvest Festival in Argentina that at its grand ceremony in the Greek Theater, more than 20,000 people attend and among the invitees one can find the most important national cultural, sport, political, cinematic and television personalities, as well as diplomatic representatives from a great number of other countries.
