Deets: The nominations for the Brits was announced in a Live Show for the first time on Saturday 14th January on ITV. This show revealed the artist that would be running for the prestigious Brit Awards trophies in the numerous categories, which include, MasterCard British Album of the Year, British Breakthrough and British Single.

There is always some kind of Drama happening at the Brits awards, and the ceremony this year is set to be more exciting than ever. This is where producers got the middle finger from Adele, Noel Gallagher and Robbie Williams who got into a fight and Madonna tumbled down the stairs.

The first highlight of this event is the replacement of Ant and Dec in favour of Michael Bublé as presenter. However, it was soon revealed by Dan Wootton that Michael would not be hosting the event, following his son’s sad cancer diagnosis. Since then it is reported that the bosses of this event has requested Dermot O’Leary, the X Factor presenter to host the awards. Emma Willis, who hosted the nominations, is also in line for this offer. One controversy is the cancellation of Olly Murs’ scheduled launch performance, as it is reported he is unhappy about not receiving a single nomination.

You can still get some limited tickets that you can grab by going through the O2 website, however seats are available only on Level 4. And if you have a fear of heights, it is not really recommended. These tickets are priced at £105 each.

One person who is sure to be at the Brits is none other than former Take That member, Robbie Williams, who will be receive The BRITs Icon Award. He has already collected 17 awards from previous Brits Awards in the past. The top accolade of The BRIT’s Icon Award has been won in the recent years by the late David Bowie and also Sir Elton John. Musical performers at the ceremony include The 1975, Emeli Sande, Little Mix, Robbie Williams, and many more.

Nominations for the Best International Female Solo Artist include Sia, Rihanna, Christine and The Queens, Solange, and her elder sister Beyoncé. These sisters will go head to head to grab this award but will still face competition for the various top stars. Beyoncé had previously won this award back in the 2014 and been nominated for it a whopping 7 times.
