Affair: Nordstrom Pop-Up Event and Model Search

Deets: Universal Standard will be hosting a pop up shop in Nordstrom Century City, which will be the first time the brand is appearing in a major retail location in Los Angeles.
The pop-up offers a unique experience to find your size, discover which styles you like, preview & pre-order pieces and to walk out hands free as all the pieces ordered will be delivered straight to you. In addition, you’ll even get a chance to meet the founders and participate in the US programming including styling sessions, Q&A’s and how-tos.

Universal Standard, the New York based apparel brand will be traveling across country this fall. The brand, known for its size-inclusive apparel for woman size 10 to 28 decided to start a tour across 12 U.S. cities (including Los Angles) after receiving countless of ‘love letters’ from clients who discovered Universal Standard organically.

The brand will start its nationwide tour in Seattle and will be in Los Angeles September 29th – October 1st and October 5th and 6th.

Model Search
During its nationwide tour, Universal Standard will be holding open call auditions for plus-size models size 10-28 in collaboration with The Lions Model Management. Top finalist will be flown to New York to meet The Lions agency’s top executives and will be featured in Universal Standard’s next major campaign, which will give finalist a unique opportunity to launch their careers.
