Deets: Rent the Runway will bring back its wildly successful sample sale to the District on Thursday, December 13 - Saturday, December 23 from 8AM - 11PM. This is the first time RTR will host a sample sale in DC since their very first one in 2016, which featured a long line of eager shoppers wrapping around the block of their Georgetown storefront. 

At this year’s sample sale, guests can shop brands including ML Monique Lhuillier, Diane Von Furstenberg, Badgley Mischka, Kate Spade New York, Derek Lam 10 Crosby and many, many more. The sale will be open at the pop-up location (3330 Cady’s Alley, NW, Washington, DC 20007). For every item sold at the sample sale, Rent the Runway will donate $1 to Dress for Success.

Since opening in the District, Rent the Runway has fundamentally changed the way DC approaches fashion. From workwear and holiday party attire to a casual weekend outfit, designer labels are no longer reserved for the streets of New York City. Earlier this year, Rent the Runway announced a partnership with WeWork, which brought two new clothing drop-off sites to the city at WeWork Apollo and WeWork White House. This makes it easier for RTR Unlimited members to turn in clothes after wearing, rather than waiting to return by mail.
