Deets: Pump­kin Point, Gov­er­nors Island’s annu­al free pump­kin patch and fall fes­ti­val, returns to Nolan Park for 2022! Vis­i­tors are invit­ed to pick out their own pump­kins (free with sug­gest­ed dona­tion) on the week­ends of Octo­ber 22 – 23 and Octo­ber 29 – 30, 2022, from 10am to 5pm. See below for a full sched­ule of events and pro­grams, with more to be announced. Gov­er­nors Island food ven­dors, includ­ing Threes Brew­ing, will be on-site both week­ends with Fall-themed food and drink avail­able for purchase.

• The Gar­den, pre­sent­ed by Fly­ing Leap Pro­duc­tions & Beam Cen­ter — 10:30am, 11:30am, & 2pm

• Arts & crafts — 11am-4pm

• Pump­kin Paint­ing — 11am-4pm

• Won­der­Spark Pup­pet Show & Work­shop — 12pm

• Trick or Treat­ing — 1pm

Pump­kins left over from Pump­kin Point will be donat­ed to local orga­ni­za­tions fight­ing hunger in New York City, or com­post­ed on Gov­er­nors Island by Earth Mat­ter, which runs a Com­post Learn­ing Cen­ter at the Urban Farm on Gov­er­nors Island.
