Deets: Nordstrom Inc., one of the nation’s leading fashion specialty retailers, celebrated the opening of its new store at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, CA with an evening gala on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. The event benefited Peninsula Committee Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Walk With
Sally. Nordstrom partnered with Honorary Co-Chairs Nancy O’Dell and Zendaya, along with Peninsula Committee Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Walk With Sally to sell tickets. More than $150,000 was raised and split between two local charities, Walk With Sally and Peninsula Committee Children’s Hospital.
The evening event was an all store celebration with cocktails and champagne, dinner and dessert stations, and live entertainment. Guests were among the first to shop the new 138,000 square-foot, two-level store and enjoyed an in-store fashion presentation, private shopping and a parting gift.
Nordstrom Del Amo Fashion Center opens Friday, October 9 at 10AM. Prior to the store's 10AM grand opening, Nordstrom at Del Amo Fashion Center will host a Beauty Bash for customers in the Nordstrom Court inside the mall on level one (8-10AM). Nordstrom beauty advisors will share the inside scoop on new products and trends for fall, plus tips and tricks for looking your best. Attendees will also enjoy special beauty demonstrations, gifts with purchase and other fun surprises. The first 1,000 attendees will receive an exclusive, reusable beauty tote bag (one per person; while supplies last).
