Deets: The Latin Recording Academy® announced nominations for the 16th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards™ via LatinGRAMMY.com, Facebook and Twitter. Leonel García leads with six nominations, followed by Natalia Lafourcade with five. Additionally, Juan Luis Guerra andAlejandro Sanz; engineers Edgar Barrera, Demián Nava, and Alan Saucedo; and producer Cachorro López each receive four nominations. Pablo Alborán, Miguel Bosé, Café Quijano, Pedro Capó, Nicky Jam, Ricky Martin, and Vicentico are among those who each receive three noms.
The first set of performers for the 16th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards™ include nominees ChocQuibTown, J Balvin, Natalia Jiménez, Juan Luis Guerra, Matisse, and Raquel Sofía. In his return to the music stage, four-time GRAMMY® winner Will Smith joins current nominees Bomba Estéreo for a show-stopping performance of their single "Fiesta (Remix)."
