Zoolander 2 will likely be set 10 years later with Derek Zoolander dealing with the fact that he is no longer a model, possibly spending his days running a modeling school and taking care of his now 10 or 11 years old son. "I think the idea in the beginning of the movie is that it's 10 years later, and Derek and Hansel are literally forgotten. Nobody remembers who they are, so they have to reinvent themselves," Stiller told MTV News in 2010.
