In the clever indie-feature, "The List," a girl gives a boy a list of things he must do to make their relationship great. But does she go too far?
Alex (Patrick Fugit), an unassuming, adorable dog-trainer is in love with gorgeous, well-bred Katherine (Jennifer Morrison). Just as he’s about to pop the question, Alex is handed a list of "improvements" he must make that will take their relationship to the next level.
Katherine sees nothing wrong in asking Alex to change. After all, she'll go to any length to optimize her "assets." Though boyishly handsome, Alex doesn't care about appearances or the latest trends. He rejects her list outright.
Even though he seeks advice from best friends (Karen Gillan, Aaron Staton and Eddie Kaye Thomas) Alex can’t come up with his next move. But his competitive ire is raised with the sudden arrival of an overly handsome, romantic rival (Gilles Marini), and everything becomes clear. Alex decides to tackle "the list" and knock off each item with gusto.
