Deets: Check out Riley – a new DTC luxury bedding & bath brand made out of Portugal. Riley was started by Heather Kaminetsky who was at Barneys and Net-a-porter.

Riley just launched Blanket the City™ with The Robin Hood Foundation and Women in Need (WIN) today. For every purchase made on RileyHome.com, a blanket is donated to a family in need at one of WIN’s ten shelters in New York City.

Blanket the City was designed to give back to Riley Home's local New York community throughout 2019. With the help of Robin Hood, Riley selected Win's shelters as the beneficiaries of their blankets. This nonprofit provides shelter and outreach services to upwards of 10 percent of the city's homeless population. Win reports that they've served more than 9,800 people over the past year.

"We are thrilled to partner with Robin Hood and Win on this incredibly important and impactful initiative," said Sogole Kane, head of marketing and public relations for Riley. "Blanket the City is an integral part of how we do business at Riley Home and, like our customers, we prioritize and value giving back and investing in local communities."

Hint for the Average Socialite: To be part of the initiative, all you have to do is purchase one of Riley's blankets at some point during the year and the retailer will ensure a blanket is donated on your behalf. You won't have to add a special coupon code or shop through a special referral code, either. Throw blankets start at $89 and comforters begin at $249.
