Carmen Sandiego is an international DJ and audio engineer formally trained in civil engineering. Her unique and intersectional life experiences growing up between the West Coast and Egypt have heavily influenced her passion for music and love for 90s R&B and Afrobeats. This love has led to the art of performing using traditional turntables, a form most djs have long forgone for computerized systems, in addition to using the latest technology

With a talent for fusing the captivating sounds of the MENA region with the best of western beat drops, Carmen Sandiego thrives off of the energy her sets bring to the crowd. Her work, however, does not stop there...over the last five years, not only has she worked closely with her (s)heroes in the industry but has produced albums and played for crowds encompassing thousands of moving bodies. 

An eclectic and engaging DJ, Carmen has played at an array of venues from large conventions to weddings, clubs and more. From Cairo to Jersey, Philadelphia to the northern coast of Egypt, and dozens of venues throughout the city of New York, she is always committed to creating a vibe.
