Sora, the elevated temaki bar known for its rooftop dining experience at The Original Farmers Market at The Grove, is set to open a new location in Brentwood this month. The concept will bring its signature open-style handroll dining to the bustling Westside neighborhood, marking the next chapter for Savta Hospitality Group in Los Angeles. 

The new Brentwood location reflects the brand’s sleek, minimalist design as seen at The Original Farmers Market flagship location, with creamy marble countertops, light wood paneling, and inviting banquet seating designed to complement Brentwood’s casually curated neighborhood atmosphere. The space seats 80 guests indoors, with a 36-seat wrap-around temaki bar anchoring the room and a 32-seat banquette along the wall. A separate beverage bar seats 12, while the sunny outdoor patio will welcome an additional 12 guests.  

Sora’s menu will showcase its signature selection of open-style handrolls, prepared to order. Standout offerings include the guest-favorite Kumamoto Red Snapper with cilantro, olive oil & truffle salt, spicy yuzu and cucumber, and beautifully simple items like the Seared Ora King Salmon temaki, where the stellar ingredients are the star of the show. The menu also features unique vegan options such as the Sanmaruko Croquette, Japanese Eggplant, and Avocado Toast handrolls. The menu is rounded out with an assortment of appetizers, including quick nibbles and seasonal sashimi, desserts, including made-to-order gelato, and a curated beverage program featuring cocktails like the Matcha Martini, sake, wine, beer, and specialty non-alcoholic offerings.
