Affair: Art Directors Guild’s 23rd Annual Excellence in Production Awards

Deets: The 23rd Annual ADG Awards, honoring the top Production Designers in the entertainment industry, will be on Saturday February 2, 2019 at Intercontinental Hotel Downtown, Los Angeles. This year’s theme is “Production Design: Landscape of the Imagination.”

Rob Marshall (Mary Poppins Returns), Oscar®-nominated and Emmy®-winning filmmaker, producer, theater director and choreographer whose films have consistently reflected the highest quality of production design, will receive the prestigious Cinematic Imagery Award 

In addition, Art Directors Ben Carré (The Wizard of Oz) and Anthony Masters (2001: A Space Odyssey) will be inducted into ADG’s Hall of Fame. Lifetime Achievement Awards will also be presented to Art Director Jeannine Oppewall, Art Director William F. Matthews, Scenic Artist Jim Fiorito, and Production Designer Ed Verreaux.
