When: Friday, July 1 @ 8PM- Saturday, July 2 @ 8AM

Hot Spot: National Air And Space Museum, Washington, DC

Deets: Ever wonder what it would be like to explore a museum in the middle of the night? Here's your chance to find out. In honor of the 40th birthday of our flagship building on the National Mall and the opening of the newly redesigned Boeing Milestones of Flight Hall, the National Air and Space Museum is staying open all night on Friday, July 1. While the artifacts don't literally come to life once the Sun goes down, "All Night at the Museum" presents a new way to enjoy our collection, with music, tours, and activities for all ages, including:
- Special tours of the new Boeing Milestones of Flight Hall
- Demonstrations by Museum staff
- Music by the United States Air Force Band
- Special treat giveaways
- A film festival featuring aviation and space related films with introductions that provide insight and cultural context
- Early morning hands-on activities for families

Hint For The Average Socialite: Admission to the museum is free! The event will also include a 21-and-over reception with discussions from special guests and cocktails. This portion of the event will require tickets, which will go on sale in late May.
