THE NFL VIP EXPERIENCE - IS IT WORTH IT?

Nothing makes you feel more important than being treated like a VIP for the day, whether that’s at a 5* restaurant, luxury spa venue, or a personalized shopping experience. The fact that there are so many different VIP experiences on offer, to suit all tastes and preferences, shows just how much we love to be pampered.

The NFL is no exception, with every team offering a whole host of VIP packages as well as standard priced tickets. What you get with these bundles depends on which stadium you’re going to and what price point you plump for, however we can guarantee that none come with a fancy cucumber and mint mud wrap!

A VIP experience at the football is less about being pampered, and more about gaining access to exclusive areas and events including official Tailgate parties. Some teams even arrange the opportunity to meet and greet former players. The package prices range from hundreds to thousands of dollars, but for what might be a once in a lifetime trip, for a true NFL fan that could be money well spent.

An Every Week Thing?

Probably not, unless you’re part of the 1% who have money to burn. The average price of a standard NFL ticket is over $100, and that’s just for the nosebleed seats. If you want one right on the sideline it’s more likely to set you back over $1000. By comparison, some of the VIP packages start around $300, but you’re still going to be sat up in the gods.

If you can afford to go regularly, you’re probably better off spending the extra money on better seats than getting a package every time.

What’s in a Package?

While different teams and stadiums offer slightly different content in their packages, there are some common themes. Of course, they will include a ticket (unless otherwise stated), and the position in the stadium will be reflected in the price. You’ll probably get a parking pass as well, giving you access to premium spots near the stadium.

An NFL game day isn’t complete without your own tailgate party, and the VIP Packages include access to the ultimate tailgate party. With all inclusive food and drinks, as well as party games, live music, and giant TV screens, this is the perfect way to get in the mood for the game.

Other perks you might find include credit at the stadium merchandise store, gift bags, and on-field experiences. And if you splash out on the Club Package you’ll also get exclusive access to the club concourse with full-service bar, upmarket food options and big screen TVs, all in a climate-controlled atmosphere.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Treat

Opting for a VIP hospitality package can be an amazing way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or just to experience as part of a vacation. For neutrals, especially those visiting from abroad, it’s worth the money to enjoy the best experience you can. But, if you’re only going to one NFL game, which should you choose? VIP packages for Super Bowl LVI are over $10,000, with no guarantee that the game will be exciting. Best then to opt for one of the normal weekly games. DK’s NFL odds suggest the Kansas City Chiefs are favorites to not only reach the Super Bowl, but win it too, so popping along to one of their conference games might well be the next best thing. The Chief’s prices are much more reasonable too, with VIP Packages ranging from $200 - $2000, you can have a matchday to remember.

The Chiefs offer a Deluxe Hotel package which includes:

· Lower level seats for the game

· 2 nights at a 4* Kansas City hotel

· Round trip airport transfers

· Access to a pregame tailgate party with all-inclusive food and drink

· $25 to spend in the official shop

This is probably one of the best value packages in terms of what is included, costing only $300 or so above the ticket and party package with seats in the same location. For those traveling to the game, this is a great way to get the full experience.

Prices vary depending on who the opponents are, with tickets for rivals like the Cleveland Browns – who are also hotly tipped to do well this year – fetching higher prices than those games against less well-performing teams. If you’re not particular about which game you go to see, it’s probably worth being flexible on days; you could save up to $1000 by choosing wisely.

Most of us can’t afford the VIP treatment every day, which is what makes it all the more special when a treat does come around. Special hospitality packages at NFL games include everything you need to have a day to remember, including game tickets, parking passes and entry to the official pre-game tailgate party, with all your food and drinks included. What better way to get in the mood for the big match and guarantee that, whether your team win or lose, you have a great time.
