The 101st National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, hosted by Mickey Guyton, will feature performances from Dionne Warwick, St. Vincent, Reneé Rapp, Joe Walsh, and more.

Join the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation as we usher in the second century of the National Christmas Tree Lighting. The National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on November 30th in President’s Park in Washington, D.C. Members of the public are invited to enter a free ticket lottery starting November 1st for an opportunity to attend this year’s event. From December 2 through January 1, everyone is invited to visit the National Christmas Tree and enjoy this annual holiday tradition in our nation’s capital.

CBS will broadcast the 2023 National Christmas Tree Lighting on December 15th, offering a special opportunity to friends and families across the country to tune in and celebrate this holiday tradition from the comfort of home.

Hint for the Average Socialite: The National Christmas Tree site is free to visit and will be open to the public after the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The National Christmas Tree area opens to the public on December 2, 2023.
