Deets: Ensure that no kid goes hungry, whether in New York or across the nation, by joining the city’s finest chefs, sommeliers and mixologists on Monday, April 24, 2017 for Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry, a remarkable night of dining in support of No Kid Hungry’s work to end childhood hunger in the America.

Guests will mix, mingle, and enjoy food and drink prepared by more than 50 top chefs and bartenders – an impressive list of talent curated by our co-chairs and host committee. Special culinary adventures include the 2nd annual rosé garden, a candy carnival, a donut derby, and more!

Taste of the Nation 2017 will be led by Honorary Chair Danny Meyer (Union Square Hospitality Group) along with Culinary Co-Chairs Anita Lo (Annisa) and Bryce Schuman (Betony). Some of the participating chefs preparing special bites for the event include: Gerardo Gonzalez of Lalito, Eli Sussman of Samesa, Sam Mason of Oddfellows Ice Cream, Junghyun Park ofAtoboy, Nick Anderer of Maialino and Marta and more. 

A few dish highlights include Curried Chickpea Tamales with Charred Poblanosfrom Lalito; Gnochetti with Rabbit Ragu, Guanciale and Fava Beans from Freek's Mill; and "Eggs & Ham," deviled eggs with prosciutto di parma from Pig Bleecker. Taste of the Nation is also introducing special culinary programming including The Candy Carnival, featuring cotton candy making from Brooklyn Floss, The Rosé Garden featuring more than 10 different kinds of rosés, and much more.
