Deets: FreshDirect is opening their first physical retail location - FreshDirect on Main - in Southampton on May 23. The opening marks an exciting new chapter for the company as it expands beyond its digital roots for the first time in nearly 25 years.

FreshDirect on Main (70 Main Street) will offer a curated selection of seasonal favorites, local products and FreshDirect’s signature fresh groceries until the end of December.

Designed to evoke the charm of a classic farmers market, the space features wooden pallets, crates, and natural textures that set the stage for an abundant selection of local produce, prepared foods, wine, and beer.

Guests can shop from a multitude of thoughtfully curated products, including farm-fresh produce, small-batch cheeses from nearby creameries, olive oils, and seasonal fruits and vegetables from regional farms like Wells Homestead Acres and Deer Run Farms. Local favorite Jack's Stir Brew Coffee will bring its beloved brews to the store with a dedicated counter offering FreshDirect’s freshly baked breakfast items, including their buttery, flaky croissants, alongside a curated menu of specialty and prepared foods.

Deets: On Saturday, July 12, Callen-Lorde Community Health Center will host its annual Hamptons Tea Dance fundraiser with DJ Jon Ali and a star-studded attendee list, dressed to the nines and mingling through the gorgeous landscapes of Nova’s Ark Project in Water Mill. This vibrant, not-to-be missed outdoor celebration draws an impressive crowd of 1,000 notable LGBTQ+ New Yorkers and their allies, making it the largest LGBTQ+ event in the Hamptons. 

The legendary Hamptons Tea Dance has been an LGBTQ+ tradition out east since 1992. The event features a large dance tent, which will be the hottest dance floor scene of the season, complete with an oversized disco ball. Delicious food and wine from local farms and vineyards–come try them all! Lawn games and a family-friendly activity area are longtime favorites of the event.

The event raises funds for Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, whose mission is to provide sensitive, quality health care and related services targeted to New York’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities — in all their diversity — regardless of ability to pay. Callen-Lorde serves 22,000 patients annually, promotes health education and wellness, and advocates for LGBTQ+ health issues. Callen-Lorde is the global leader in LGBTQ+ healthcare, and since the days of Stonewall, we have been transforming lives in LGBTQ+ communities through excellent comprehensive care, provided free of judgment and regardless of ability to pay. Deets: The Holiday House Hamptons Designer Showhouse event will return on July 12 with an opening night White Party and run through August 17.

The showhouse will be co-chaired Christian Siriano, Campion Platt and Andrea Stark with Jean Shafiroff as the Philanthropy Chair. The house will feature over 15 of the industry’s top interior designers and their cutting-edge lifestyle concepts and benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). To date, Holiday House, which was founded by breast cancer survivor Iris Dankner, has raised almost two million dollars for breast cancer research. 

The event is presented by East End Building Co. This year’s property at 392 Seven Ponds Towd Road in Water Mill is built and brokered by East End Building Co, and features 8 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms and 2 half baths, across 11,200 sq. ft.

Deets: The 25th annual “SCHOOL’S OUT” benefit raises money to ensure that Hetrick-Martin Institute's young people have the resources they need through the summer months when schools are closed, and resources are scarce. Cocktails are 5:00pm - 7:30pm followed by their VIP ‘Taste of the Hamptons’ Dinner with dishes from Petrossian, STK Steakhouse, and Almond restaurant among others. The Host Committee includes Andy Cohen, Countess Luann de Lesseps, Rufus Wainwright, Kelly Bensimon, Candace Bushnell among others, and will feature Aqualillies – a renowned group of synchronized swimmers. HMI has been serving LGBTQIA+ youth since 1979, the longest history of any such organization in the US.

Deets: The Hampton Classic is one of the largest outdoor horse shows in the United States, a premier destination for horse people, and a much-anticipated stop on the summer tour for competitors. Now well into its fourth successful decade, The Hampton Classic Horse Show is in a class all its own, both in the minds of spectators and horse people alike.

Top equestrians from around the world compete for more than $800,000 in prize money. National champion hunter competitors, Olympic medalists, and scores of children and adult amateurs make up the field riding approximately 1,500 horses entered each year in 200+ separate competitions.

In addition to watching world class equestrian sport, spectators enjoy more than 80 onsite shops, a dozen International food options, daily activities in the kids' area, and Monday's annual Animal Adoption Day, featuring rescued dogs, cats, and horses in search of a forever home.

In 2009, the Hampton Classic became only the second horse show ever to receive the status of Heritage Competition by the United States Equestrian Federation.  This prestigious status is reserved for competitions that have been in existence for at least 25 years and have provided for their communities as well as the horse community as a whole in an unprecedented fashion. 

Opening Sunday, on the beautiful grass of the Grand Prix Ring, you will find probably the tensest competition all week, the legendary Hampton Classic Leadline.  Dozens upon dozens of ponies parade their riders, judged by Olympic Gold medalist Joe Fargis, while their proud parents and grandparents watch nervously from the V.I.P. tents.

The week culimnates with the $300,000 Hampton Classic Grand Prix, one of the most coveted titles in the sport.

The Hampton Classic Horse Show is always a grand way to end the summer. Held in high regard by the horse community, famous for its Hamptons Celebrity sightings, and second to none in high end shopping boutiques, it earns its nickname The Classic.

One of the most popular and celebrity-studded events of the Hamptons’ summer calendar, Authors Night features 100 authors across all genres. The “Premier Literary Event of the Hamptons” has grown over its history to become one of the most successful celebrations of books and authors in America, and one of the largest library-author events of its kind in the country.

Deets: Back in summer 2021, acclaimed singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, band leader, and rock and roll performer Grace Potter took off on a solo cross-country road trip that would soon bring a life-saving reconnection with her most unbridled self. The Vermont-born artist spent the coming weeks crashing in roadside motels and taking time each night to transcribe the song ideas she’d dreamed up behind the wheel, often scrawling those notes onto the backs of postcards and motel notepads. After completing two more trips on her own—Potter flew to Nashville for a series of recording sessions that resulted in her most magnificently unfettered collection of songs to date. Equal parts fearlessly raw memoir and carnivalesque fable, Mother Road is a body of work that goes far beyond the typical album experience.

Deets: Kiehl’s is hosting a Pop-Up series in Montauk, offering locals and visitors a taste of the brand’s East Village roots surfside on July 27th and 28th! The brand will be popping up across town at local hot spots throughout the weekend, sampling their new and best-selling Better Screen SPF and Ultra Facial Cream along with branded merch, hosting exclusive giveaways, and social media-worthy photo moments.

• Kiehl’s Taxicab Experience – Kiehl’s will hail a cab from its East Village Flagship store to Montauk in a branded vintage yellow NYC cab clad with branded surfboards, product samples, merch, and more. Follow the brand’s journey out east on their social channels.
