You’re invited to this year’s German-American Oktoberfest at SummerStage, Rumsey Playfield in Central Park! Join us for a lively celebration of friendship, music, food, and drink at the biggest Oktoberfest festival in New York City. The Oktoberfest tradition began over 200 years ago, when Bavaria’s Crown Prince Ludwig married Princess Therese of Saxony on October 12, 1810. The citizens of Munich were invited to attend the festivities held in the fields outside the city gates to celebrate the royal wedding—an event that grew into a 16-day festival. Today, that celebration lives on as Oktoberfest, the world’s largest Volksfest, held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany—and celebrated around the world. Get tickets now!

The Mamdani administration and Theatre Development Fund are partnering to offer thousands of free and low-cost tickets to Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, museums, and more through October 31.
