Deets: Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue will open at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey this fall. Beginning November 13, 2026 long-time Minecraft fans, new adventurers, and families of all ages will become heroes in the immersive quest.
Minecraft is the best-selling video game of all time, with millions of players around the world adventuring and creating together. With Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue, guests can step beyond the screen and into a story-driven rescue mission where iconic biomes, mobs, and challenges from the game come to life.
Guests begin their 1-hour journey in the forest, where they learn the ropes before entering the village to receive their quest. Working alongside a team of fellow adventurers, they embark on an interactive, story-driven mission through eight Minecraft realms, collecting resources and encountering iconic mobs.
Along the way, guests will be able to interact with pandas and dolphins as well as face skeletons, spiders and – of course – creepers. Armed with only their wit and an Orb of Interaction (a glowing interactive handheld device which guides each user through the experience),groups will embark on a journey in search of the resources needed to craft a life-saving potion. Upon completion, guests can celebrate their heroic feat with the purchase of a Minecraft memento at the Trading Post. In addition, players can claim a sought-after commemorative Minecraft cape to continue their adventure in-game.
Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is designed for players and non-players alike, with no prior knowledge of Minecraft required. The experience opens November 13, 2026, for a limited engagement at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Hint for the Average Socialite: Tickets go on sale October 1. Single-ticket prices start at $36, with friends-and-family multipack tickets starting at $32.
