On October 1st, the legendary global urban picnic Dîner en Blanc will make its dazzling return to New York - the city that helped launch the international sensation. Romance reigns as thousands of guests, dressed in elegant head-to-toe white, gather at a secret landmark for an unforgettable evening where dining becomes art, strangers become friends, fashion becomes a statement, and the city itself transforms into the stage for the world's largest dinner party. This year, Dîner en Blanc elevates its signature glamour with an international theme: Une Soirée Parisienne – La Belle Époque, inspired by the elegance, romance, and sophistication of Paris's golden age. GUEST HOUSE: WELCOME HOME EXHIBIT AT THE WANG CONTEMPORARY, NYC
September 11-27
The Wang Contemporary’s newest exhibition, Guest House: Welcome Home, opens September 11! The show presents a series of life-size wax sculptures of familiar female icons from American pop culture in distinctly Chinese settings by the artist Zhou Xuerong—marking her institutional debut in the United States. The exhibition offers a funny, thoughtful, unexpected rumination on identity and globalization. It officially opens on September 11 and will be on view free to the public every weekend for the rest of the month. Founded by Ying and Alexander Wang, The Wang Contemporary opened this February with a performative installation by art collective MSCHF to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Guest House is TWC’s second activation, and a testament to its mission of amplifying Asian voices and building the New York stage many of them have never had. Book your free reservation now!
