Wimbledon cancelled
College basketball The NCAA has CANCELLED the 2020 Division I men's and women's basketball tournaments, along with all other winter season championship events.
Summer Olympics Organizers of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, the biggest global sporting event of the year, are already concerned that the disease will problematic, and the status of the games could be up in the air as late as May.
MLB Major League Baseball has CANCELLED the remainder of spring training and is pushing back the start of the regular season at least two weeks. The regular season was originally scheduled to start March 26.
NHL The NHL announced it is PAUSING the 2019-20 season, effective immediately.
GolfThe PGA Tour canceled the Players Championship after the first round, and also all tournaments until the Masters.
College Football Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State have all canceled their spring football games.
XFL The XFL has SUSPENDED play as of Thursday, effective immediately.
Soccer
-The UEFA European Championship (Euro 2020), initially scheduled for summer of 2020, has been POSTPONED until 2021.- MLS announced it is SUSPENDING play for 30 days.
-Copa America originally scheduled to begin June 12 has been POSTPONED to June 11, 2021.
- USWNT matches against Australia (April 10) and Brazil (April 14) have been CANCELLED. U.S. Soccer will look to reschedule.
- Champions League, Premier League, Europa League all suspend games.
Horse Racing The 146th running of the Kentucky Derby has been POSTPONED to September 5, 2020.
WrestlingThe Wrestlemania 36 event on April 5 in Tampa, FL has been CANCELLED.
UFC
UFC Fight Night 171, UFC on ESPN 8 and UFC Fight Night 172 have been CANCELLED. As of now UFC 249 is planned to go ahead.
AMUSEMENT PARKS
- Universal Studios Hollywood will temporarily CLOSE until at least May 31..
- Universal Orlando will be CLOSED effective Monday, March 16. The park will be closed until May 31
