Deets: The Library of Congress will host Kevin Kwan, international bestselling author of the Crazy Rich Asian trilogy, in conversation with Roswell Encina, The Library’s Chief Communication Officer for an evening with the author. In 2018, Kwan was named in the TIME 100’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world.

Join us for an entertaining conversation about the author’s life from Singapore to New York and how the first book became the inspiration for the major motion picture. A movie screening of Crazy Rich Asians will precede the conversation with a book signing to follow.

This program is presented as part of the Library’s Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month programming and is co-hosted by the Library of Congress Asian American Association.

Seating and book signing is on a first-come, first-served basis. Books for the signing will be available for purchase by The Library of Congress Shop.
