Deets: D.C.’s only over-water ice skating rink is back! Glide over the ice while enjoying views of the water and iconic monuments. 

• Skaters have the option to either bring their own skates or rent a pair rink-side.

• Skate aids are available at the skate shop.

• The rink has turned ALL CAPS in celebration of the Washington Capitals 50th Anniversary Season with Capitals-themed décor and Rock the Rink events!

• January 16: Rock the Rink Ice Skating 6:00 PM -10:00 PM: Capitals vs. Ottawa Senators at 7:00 PM

• February 22: Rock the Rink Ice Skating 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Capitals vs. Pittsburgh Penguins at 3:00 PM

Hint for the Average Socialite: Purchase tickets and rent skates at the Skate Shop, located on Transit Pier next to the Water Taxi ticket office.
