Deets: Fashion. Photography. Self-expression. You can find all three in this after-hours program celebrating our newest exhibition, Photography and the Black Arts Movement, 1955–1985. Wear your favorite outfit inspired by fashion from the ’50s through the ’80s. Strike a pose in our photobooth. Experiment with photography while making art of your own. As a rare treat, we’ll open part of the West Building you can explore the exhibition in person.
Hint for the Average Socialite: The event is FREE but registration is through a lottery system. Lottery opens Monday, September 29, at 10:00 a.m. and closes Thursday, October 2, at noon. Additional passes are available at the East Building entrance—first come, first served—starting at 5:30 p.m.
