Deets: The 54th NAACP Image Awards”will recognize talented individuals nominated in more than 70 categories at its Nominees Luncheon. At the event, WME co-chairman Richard Weitz will receive the NAACP Dorothy Parker Ally Award in recognition of his unprecedented support for charitable organizations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The award is presented to individuals or entities that consistently demonstrate a commitment to exploring mutual interests and activating initiatives that produce measurable results to the benefit of disadvantaged and marginalized communities.

Founded in 1909 in response to the ongoing violence against Black people around the country, the NAACP is the largest and most pre-eminent civil rights organization in the nation. Our mission is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons.
