Their visit to the Garden will transform our 87 acres into a playful, storybook landscape, where guests can wander beside these charismatic creatures and discover them tucked into immersive locations across the grounds. Discovery Global Experiences, in collaboration with DC Studios, today announced Superman Experience: Defenders Unite, a brand-new walkthrough experience and live gameplay attraction, will launch on Superman Day – April 18, 2026 – at Stage 5 on the iconic Warner Bros. Studios lot. Presented by Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, Superman Experience offers guests the ability to unlock and hone their super powers, work as a team, and enjoy the illusion of flying alongside Superman through next-generation motion capture technology, active 3D glasses, and high-definition audio. Fans can visit SupermanExperience.com now to secure tickets. 

Superman Experience features an original storyline, created and exclusively for the attraction, which brings guests into a world inspired by James Gunn’s 2025 blockbuster film “Superman.” Inside the Fortress of Solitude, guests are recruited by Supermanhimself and receive Kryptonian abilities to utilize in a critical mission. Through immersive technology, guests will simulate taking to the skies alongside Superman and visit various locations – including a training session on the Kent Farm with Krypto the Superdog – before joining Superman in an epic battle against DC Super-Villain, Darkseid. Earth’s fate hangs in balance and only you and your team of newly empowered superheroes can help Superman save humanity.

Throughout Superman Experience, guests will have their scores logged and displayed in real-time as family-friendly competition increases the stakes while training and fighting off Darkseid’s invasion.

The experience’s central hub – focused on the Fortress of Solitude – will feature interactive mini games, unique props, and social-media worthy photo opportunities including: 

• A life-sized audio animatronic Gary (Robot #4), Superman’s Kryptonian robot companion 

• Doghouse of Solitude mini game where fans can play catch with Krypto 

• A two-player puzzle game where guests can activate the Phantom Zone Projector

• As guests complete the activities listed above – along with more activities yet to be revealed – the Chaos Crystal on display will activate the entire Fortress of Solitude 

Guests can also grab a beverage or themed snack at the Fortress of Solitude lounge and shop for exclusive merchandise within a new Daily Planet-themed retail store. A new comic book, exclusive to Superman Experience, will be available for fans to purchase on-site from DC. The custom comic, Superman: Defenders Unite, is written by Josh Trujillo with a cover art by Bernard Chang.

Superman Experience is a separate ticketed attraction from Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood and is also sold as an “add-on” to the renowned Studio Tour. Parking is available at Warner Bros. Deets: Marilyn Monroe: Hollywood Icon celebrates Marilyn Monroe—born Norma Jeane Mortenson on June 1, 1926—as a visionary actor and image-maker, examining the many facets of how she created and shaped her public image in the context of the classical Hollywood studio system. 

Presenting hundreds of original objects, including posters, portraits, photographs, production documents, letters, and rarely seen personal materials—many of which will be on display for the first time—the exhibition will give unique insight into her agency in becoming a Hollywood icon. The exhibition will also feature an extensive display of Monroe’s screen-worn costumes, ranging from a dress featured in Love Happy (1949) to items from her final and unfinished film, Something’s Got to Give(1962). Major highlights include two costumes by Orry-Kelly from Some Like it Hot(1959), as well as the rarely exhibited famous pink dress by William Travilla from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953). 

Marilyn Monroe: Hollywood Icon is curated by Associate Curator Sophia Serrano, with Curatorial Assistant Simran Bhalla.

Hosted at the Black Resource Center inside A C Bilbrew Library, this immersive exhibit celebrates the women who shaped California through their brilliance, grit, and lasting impact.

From historic trailblazers to political powerhouses, artists to athletes—this exhibit gives these remarkable women their flowers in real time and living color. Throughout the summer, the pop-up will feature free community activations, oral history preservation opportunities, and public programming rooted in empowerment and community building.

The exhibit honors more than 30 exceptional Black women and girls, inviting the Los Angeles community to experience the humanity, struggle, and deep resilience behind their stories.

Deets: Gentle Giants by Raphaele Cohen-Bacry is on display at the Adams Square Mini Park Gas Station from Monday, July 13 - Friday, October 2, 2026.

Gentle Giants presents a gathering of tall, hand-formed characters who share the space with a calm, watchful presence. Each giant stands as part of a loose “family,” connected not by a single story but by a shared spirit. Accompanying the giants are smaller, lighter forms – suggestive of birds – scattered throughout the gas station. Together, the figures and birds create a gentle ecosystem, one that feels alive but unhurried, inviting viewers to pause and take it in. Gentle Giants offers an experience rooted in reassurance and imagination. The exhibit invites children and adults alike to encounter scale with ease, to find friendliness in the unfamiliar, and to see how even the simplest materials can hold a sense of magic.

Gentle Giants is a suspended installation of collaged paper figures all created from black paper and painted fragments. Collage guides Cohen-Bacry's work as both technique and philosophy - embracing difference, reclaiming discarded materials, and building forms that feel vulnerable yet resilient.

An artist reception will be hosted by the Adams Square Neighborhood Association on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Adams Square Mini Park Gas Station is located at 1020 E. Palmer Ave., Glendale, CA 91205.

Deets: A Killer Night in Studio City is an immersive murder mystery dinner theater experience set in 1958 Hollywood, combining comedy, classic ’50s music, dinner, and audience participation. Written and produced by Kevin Allen Jackson and Kristine Dickson, the production is directed by and co-stars Noah Blake, son of Robert Blake.  It’s a healing experience for Blake to return to the scene of the crime where his stepmother was murdered to make happy memories at the restaurant that he loves.

Guests are invited to a memorial for rising Hollywood actress Sophia Vance, where everyone is a suspect and guests must follow clues to uncover her killer. For Blake, the production is also deeply personal, as he returns to Vitello’s, a restaurant he has frequented for decades and the site of the 2001 murder of his stepmother.

Deets: Delusion, the acclaimed interactive horror theater experience created by writer and director Jon Braver, returns this fall to the historic Beckett Mansion, where the series first began in 2011. Presented by Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, the 2026 production, Delusion: Den of the Mosquito, runs on select nights from September 17 through November 8 and marks a homecoming for the long-running series. 

Set inside a brothel in 1920s New Orleans, Den of the Mosquito unfolds as a supernatural tale of crime, family, mobsters and monsters, with vampire courtesans lurking at the center of its mystery. Guests become agents of Anomaly, a clandestine organization investigating supernatural threats, and must move through the story as active participants whose encounters help propel the night forward.

The new production returns to the intimate, character-driven storytelling and close audience interaction that defined Delusion’s earliest seasons. Each performance is limited to a group of 10 guests and unfolds as a streamlined, approximately 50-minute narrative play. Split paths, suspense-driven scenes and emotionally charged encounters place each group at the center of a darker, more personal adventure. The experience welcomes guests ages 18 and over.

Running for a limited engagement through October 11, The Light We Leave Behind reimagines the traditional concert experience, taking guests through a surreal sequence of environments built around live music, snow, water, rain, light and physical space. Rather than simply watching a performance from a seat, audiences move through the experience as it unfolds around them. 

Created by Los Angeles-based artist, composer and producer Emmit Fenn, the approximately two-hour experience begins in a snow-covered lounge before moving into an expansive performance environment where Fenn and a live ensemble perform surrounded by water, synchronized lighting and eventually, indoor rainfall. The evening concludes in a gallery exploring the creative process behind the project.

Deets: LA’s Halloween Tradition Returns to Griffith Park September 18 Through November 1 with a New Séance Show Revealing the Origins of Midnight Falls.

This fall, the iconic Los Angeles Haunted Hayride returns to Griffith Park with for its 18th season. Running select nights from September 18 through November 1, the 2026 event introduces the all-new Fallen Angel maze alongside expanded scenes and scares throughout the signature Hayride, returning favorites Elvira’s Trick or Treat Mayhem and Hellbilly Halloween, themed food and beverages, and immersive attractions across the cursed town of Midnight Falls.

Fallen Angel transports guests to the condemned Halo Theatre on the Sunset Strip where the heavy metal band Fallen Angel died after a pyro mishap while rehearsing the biggest show of their lives, a Halloween night spectacle they never got to play. Forty-one years later, their most devoted fans have broken into the venue to enact a ritual to make sure the show goes on. It worked, but now the fans believe YOU are the band. 

The iconic Haunted Hayride returns with more choreography by renowned celebrity choreographer Bobby Newberry, new scenes, original musical scores and immersive soundscaping. Sway poles are also making a return for the first time since 2014.

The fright continues in Elvira’s Trick or Treat Mayhem, a candy-coated realm filled with bizarre surprises, ghoulish goodies and the Mistress of the Dark’s signature glamour and mischief. Meanwhile, Hellbilly Halloween takes guests deep into the backwoods of Midnight Falls, where a long-rumored cannibalistic family has embraced the spirit of Halloween by dishing out diabolical tricks filled with horrifying treats.

“Midnight Falls has always been a town filled with secrets, and this year we’re revealing one of its biggest mysteries,” said Jen Bendik, General Manager. “Through the new séance show, guests will uncover how the town became cursed and trapped on Halloween night in 1985. And for the first time, guests 21 and over can enjoy spirits of a different kind at new themed bars throughout the event.”

Beyond the Hayride and mazes, guests can explore Midnight Falls, shop for seasonal merchandise, and enjoy Halloween-themed food and beverages, including plant-based offerings from Mr. Charlie’s. 

For the first time, Los Angeles Haunted Hayride will serve alcohol onsite, with new themed bars offering guests ages 21 and over another way to experience the atmosphere of Midnight Falls.

The Cider Mill Experience also returns with warm apple cider and fresh apple cider donuts, while s’mores stations provide a fireside break amid the roaming townsfolk and nightly scares. 

This year’s Los Angeles Haunted Hayride will also feature the following add-on experiences: 

• Madame Aurora Seance Theater – New! Drawn to the thin veil between the living and the dead, world-famous medium Madame Aurora conjures spirits before guests’ eyes. The new storyline reveals how Midnight Falls became trapped on Halloween night in 1985, but not every spirit she summons is benign.

• Scary-Go-Round – Take a spin on Midnight Falls’ eerie carousel, where a familiar carnival favorite carries a sinister Halloween twist.

• Midnight Falls Axe Throwing – Learn to defend against the town’s less-than-friendly ghouls as the Axeperts of Midnight Falls coach guests through five attempts to hit the bullseye.

• Mini Escape Games – Race against the clock to solve cryptic riddles and hidden clues in a five-minute challenge before time runs out.

• S’mores Package – Gather around the firelight in Town Square and roast a classic Halloween treat beneath the watchful gaze of Midnight Falls’ roaming residents.

• Zombie Splat GellyBall Experience – Armed with glowing GellyBalls and protective eyewear, guests face actor-driven zombies in a fast-paced, five-minute battle.

Deets: The Other Art Fair returns to Barker Hangar for 16th Los Angeles edition, featuring artist-designed mini golf and a site-specific Installation on “loan” from The British Museum.

This edition of the fair showcases 160 independent artists, with 63% women-identifying and 46% Los Angeles-based exhibitors representing 14 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Finland, Germany, Greece, India, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The growing roster continues to advance the fair's mission of accessibility and connecting emerging and independent talent directly with collectors.

New to this edition, The Other Art Fair Los Angeles invites visitors to play three one-of-a-kind golf holes at The Other Open: Artist-Designed Mini Golf, part sculpture, part installation, and fully playable. Three female artists are designing unique courses: local artist Suze Riley, Isabel Arenda, and Heather Bellino all bring their creativity to this interactive installation.

Alongside the artist-designed mini-golf will be a site-specific installation by Adam Rose and Richard Hoffman, TP Catalog — On Loan from The British Museum, a fully hand-painted restroom installation featuring a row of gold-framed toilet-paper transfers, each depicting an artifact that may itself have been acquired by The British Museum. The images are paired with text drawn from the objects’ own museum database entries, and a continuous video documenting the British Museum heist plays on loop, visible through viewing holes cut into the stall walls.

Guests can grab a drink at the Fair Bar (Thursday to Sunday), offering cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Four food trucks will be available on site:

• Thai Mex Cocina (Thursday to Sunday)

• Cali Craving (Thursday to Sunday), serving smash burgers and fries with vegetarian options

• LA LA Lasagna (Thursday to Saturday), with vegan and vegetarian options available
