Deets: Heartfelt testimonials will be shared by Burke, a makeup artist who fought a ten-year battle for disability benefits; by survivors of the Palisades and Eaton wildfires; and by Anthony Bracy, a formerly incarcerated firefighter and participant in the Forestry and Fire Recruitment Program (FFRP) who is aiding in the wildfire recovery effort. After receiving record-clearing services from LAFLA, Anthony was allowed to pursue his firefighting career in Los Angeles. Each of these individuals received free legal services from LAFLA, underscoring the life-changing impact of the organization’s work.
Golden Globe-winning actor and musician Katey Sagal will serve as Emcee for the gala. The Access to Justice Award will go to Paris Barclay, two-time Emmy Award-winning director, producer, and writer. Glenn Pomerantz, Partner, Munger, Tolles & Olson will receive theMaynard Toll Award for Distinguished Public Service, and Morrison Foerster and Jack Londen, Senior Of Counsel, will receive the Pro Bono Service Award. Guests will enjoy dinner, a silent auction, and live music.
