Deets: "Posing" is portraying the authentic self or an illusion of oneself. Maybe it's an "illusion of the truth" effect. My work of the past 37 years has been established on the visual chronicles of how human beings are living a life. The "Posing" series did grow out of the previous "Hide and Seek" series that focused on the questions of one's attempt to hide their intellectual honesty in order to seek out a newly designed image... a "Poser" tsunami of posturing between who was being real, and who was obviously pretending to be real, often with the intent to deceive, could no longer be ignored.
