Deets: Get Nostalgic at Our 80's Themed Pop-Up Bar in Huntington Beach

What do neon-colored ski outfits, a life–size yeti and thematic food, drinks, and décor all have in common? Each of these will be heavily on display at Kimpton Shorebreak Huntington Beach Resort’s new winter pop-up bar, Pier Summit Ski Lodge.

Upon entry to the Pier Summit Ski Lodge, you’ll experience an immediate departure from Surf City USA and be transported to a decade of the past. Neon-hued décor and lighting complimented by kitschy eighties trademarks will fill the space while servers, outfitted in retro one-piece ski outfits, will present menu items showcased through vintage viewfinders.

The beverage menu is the real star of the show with a selection of affectionately named craft cocktails served up in experiential ways, including:

• Big Foot – bourbon meets pumpkin-maple richness with a hit of mole

• Johnny Applesack – tequila, apple cider, and cinnamon foam (fall in a glass)

• Snow Bunny – vodka, sloe gin, and silky vanilla-cranberry perfection

• Ski Lift – an espresso-style pick-me-up featuring cold brew and coffee liqueur

• And Don’t Call Me Shirley – gin, pomegranate, and rosemary for the win
