Ahead of the December 5 premiere of “Spartacus: House of Ashur,” Lionsgate Television will unleash an unexpected public encounter inspired by the brutal world of Ancient Rome on Saturday, November 29. The once-defeated Ashur—now “Dominus” of his own House—has been spotted assembling warriors… and it appears his search will lead him to both Venice Beach and Melrose Ave.
While details remain tightly guarded, Lionsgate Television confirms the event will include Roman escorts, gladiator candidates, and a traveling manifestation of Ashur’s growing power. Witnesses should expect sudden displays of dominance, cryptic proclamations, and an ominous test of strength designed to determine who is worthy to fight for the House of Ashur.
The Melrose stop is expected to become the center of the spectacle, where Ashur’s intentions—and his appetite for new gladiators—may finally be revealed.
WHAT TO EXPECT (Unconfirmed Reports):
Roman soldiers escorting a mysterious chariot
Potential challengers and “gladiator hopefuls” pulled from the crowd
Sudden demonstrations of strength and warrior evaluation
Ashur issuing proclamations from his traveling court
Unexpected crowd interactions and cinematic visuals
Hint for the Average Socialite: This event is free and open to the public.
