Deets: The Los Angeles Dodgers won their 9th World Series championship after defeating the Toronto Blue Jays in game 7. Now it’s time to celebrate with a parade!
The Dodgers players will leave Dodger Stadium at 10:45 a.m. and make their way to downtown Los Angeles. The motorcade of double-decker buses carrying the players will travel through downtown Los Angeles.
Parade route:
Start Location: Temple Street and Broadway
Route:
West on Temple Street
South on Grand Avenue
West on 7th Street
North on Figueroa Street
End: 5th Street
The Dodgers will then head back to the stadium.
Following the parade, there will be a ticketed rally event at Dodger Stadium.
Ticketed event with merchandise, food and entertainment – including coverage of the parade on DodgerVision scoreboards.
Parking will be extremely limited. We strongly encourage fans to purchase parking with their event tickets.
Parking gates will open at 8:30 AM Stadium gates will open at 9 AM. No parking entry without an event ticket.
Fans that do not prepay parking will need to show event tickets at the auto gates to enter the parking lot.
Players will arrive from parade to join the event, which begins at 11:00 AM.
Hint for the Average Socialite: The parade is free and open to the public. The parade and rally are expected to be aired live on local news channels in Los Angeles,
Note: Due to the extensive street closures and timing, the Dodgers have advised that fans will not be able to attend both the downtown parade and the stadium celebration. The stadium event will provide live entertainment and coverage of the parade on the scoreboards.
Tickets go on sale Sunday, November 1 at 12:00pm PT.
