Deets: Baby2Baby, the national nonprofit organization that has provided over half a billion critical items to children in need across the country, announced that multiplatinum rapper, actor and philanthropist Ludacris will perform at the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala Presented by Paul Mitchell on Saturday, November 8 in Los Angeles, CA.
As previously announced, the gala will honor athlete and entrepreneur, Serena Williams, with the “Giving Tree Award,” an award given annually to a public figure who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving the lives of children in need around the world.
The Baby2Baby Gala is an annual event for the organization that raises critical funds to make Baby2Baby’s work reaching one million children living in poverty each year possible. Last year’s gala raised a record-breaking $17 million in support of Baby2Baby’s mission. In the last 14 years, Baby2Baby has distributed over half a billion essential items including diapers, formula and clothing to children in need. Baby2Baby is providing these items to children in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, foster care agencies, hospitals, and school districts as well as children who have lost everything in the wake of disaster.
Baby2Baby Co-CEOs Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein were named to the 2024 TIME100 list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World for Baby2Baby’s innovation and impact. They have grown Baby2Baby into a national non-profit organization to address the increasing needs of families living in poverty across the country. A staggering 1 in 2 families in the US can’t afford diapers for their babies. In response to this devastating need, the organization built its own diaper manufacturing system, allowing them to manufacture diapers for 80% less than the retail price and distribute five times more. Baby2Baby has provided over 250 million diapers to families in need since their inception, more than any organization of their kind. Baby2Baby’s Disaster Relief & Emergency Response Program has responded to the specific needs of children in over 100 disasters including fires, floods and hurricanes.
