Deets: Join us for a remarkable afternoon of strength, resilience, and recovery at the 75th Anniversary red-carpet luncheon that celebrates individuals who have triumphed over addiction. The Luncheon will be hosted by Fox 11's, Good Day LA Morning Anchor, Brooke Thomas, and will include testimonials by Friendly House Grateful Hearts alumni, as well as an auction featuring priceless items and coveted destination experiences. Friendly House will honor Comedian, Actor, Musician, Advocate, Entrepreneur, Emmy and five-time Grammy nominee Margaret Cho with the Humanitarian of the Year Award; Academy of Country Music Award nominee Morgan Wade with the Shining Star Award; Advocate and philanthropist Mary Fisher with the Woman of the Year Award; President and CEO of Vitality Institute Marya Khalil-Otto with the Trailblazer of the Year Award; CEO and co-founder of Blackburn Clinical Services Nadea Egan with the Unsung Hero Award; and Gender Wellness of Los Angeles’ Founder Casey Weitzman and Vice President Grace O’Connor with the Excellence in Service Award.
The 75th Anniversary Friendly House Luncheon will be produced by two-time Tony Award winner, Scott Mauro Entertainment Inc.,
Who You May Spot: Margaret Cho (Humanitarian of the Year Recipient), Morgan Wade (Shining Star Award), Brooke Thomas (Host), Marya Khalil-Otto(Trailblazer of the Year Award), Mary Fisher (Woman of the Year), Nadea Egan (Unsung Hero Award), Casey Weitzman & Grace O’Connor (Excellence in Service Award), Dina LaPolt (Presenter & Past Friendly House Honoree), David Kessler (Presenter / Author), Zan Eisley (Friendly House Board President & Presenter), Katie Otro (DJ), Christina Simos (Friendly House Executive Director) and other prominent guests will attend the 75th Anniversary luncheon. More than 450 guests will gather at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel to support Friendly House. Greg Sowders and Katherine Wentworth will co-chair the luncheon. Erica Zodtner will serve as Silent Auction Chair.
