Deets: Lotte Home Shopping, a South Korean TV and online home shopping retailer, today announced a partnership with KOTRA to support the U.S. market entry of 43 domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the beauty and lifestyle sector. From July 17 to August 15, the company will operate the industry's first K-beauty and lifestyle pop-up store at The Grove, a premier shopping destination in Los Angeles.

This event is part of the "Overseas Expansion Support Program for Distribution Companies" led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA. Lotte Home Shopping was selected as a participating company this past April in recognition of its track record supporting the overseas expansion of domestic SMEs into Europe, Southeast Asia, and other regions since 2016.

Accordingly, the company will operate a K-beauty and lifestyle pop-up store for approximately one month at The Grove, a premium shopping center located in the heart of Los Angeles, supporting the U.S. market entry of 43 outstanding domestic SME brands. Through this experiential pop-up, which allows direct engagement with local consumers, the initiative aims to raise brand awareness and provide an opportunity to gauge consumer response and market potential in the United States.

Los Angeles is a region where Korean Wave consumption is thriving, centered around K-pop and K-beauty, with a dense concentration of Gen Z and millennial consumers familiar with Korean culture. The Grove, in particular, is home to global beauty and fashion brands such as Sephora, Zara, REVOLVE, Brandy Melville, and Alo, making it one of LA's premier shopping destinations and an ideal venue for K-brands to showcase their competitiveness directly to local consumers.

The pop-up is designed under the theme of "LIVE SEOUL," inviting visitors to experience today's Seoul through EESEOL, a curated lifestyle platform that introduces emerging Korean beauty and lifestyle brands while connecting global consumers with the latest trends from Seoul.

The venue is divided into two key zones. "Seoul Beauty" on the ground floor features head-to-toe beauty categories, including skincare, makeup, haircare, body care, and beauty devices, allowing visitors to discover their own "Seoul Style."

On the second floor, "Seoul Now" brings together K-pop, K-food, and interactive lifestyle experiences inspired by the energy of contemporary Seoul. Through curated brand discovery, hands-on product experiences, and exclusive shopping opportunities, visitors can explore the diversity and innovation of Korea's emerging beauty and lifestyle brands.

The program will also feature a range of events in collaboration with local influencers to promote K-brands, offering more than a simple pop-up store—providing real business opportunities for domestic SMEs to develop local sales channels and establish a foothold in the U.S. market.

This is both a venue where 43 domestic SME brands will meet U.S. consumers directly and an opportunity to confirm the global competitiveness of K-beauty and lifestyle brands. As this is a firsthand opportunity to observe K-brands' U.S. market entry strategy, local consumer response, and global market potential, we kindly ask for your interest and coverage.

Hint for the Average Socialite: This event is open to the public.
