Deets: The Melrose Trading Post will transform into an open-air runway on Sunday, March 22 as Melrose Fashion Week returns to celebrate independent designers, sustainable fashion, and the next generation of creative talent. Staged in the heart of the historic Fairfax High School marketplace, the event brings Melrose designers and student creators together for a red-carpet runway show surrounded by one of Los Angeles’ most eclectic shopping destinations.

The Melrose Local & Sustainable Runway Show on Sunday, March 22 from 12:00–3:00pm, is a red carpet runway staged in the center of the Melrose Trading Post’s Blue Section. The participating Melrose designers will showcase collections that emphasize sustainable design, including garments created from reclaimed fabrics, reworked vintage textiles, and repurposed materials. The outdoor runway will feature collections from designers within the Melrose Trading Post community alongside emerging student designers from Southern California fashion programs.
