Deets: The Paley Center for Media today announced its latest PaleyLive program, Outlander: A Celebration. Taking place shortly before the series finale on STARZ, this once-in-a lifetime celebration will bring fans back to the very beginning with a screening of the first episode “Sassenach,” followed by a conversation with stars Caitríona Balfe & Sam Heughan, and showrunner and executive producer Matthew B. Roberts. The evening will end with a sneak-peek look at the series finale.

The event will take place on Wednesday, May 13 at 7:30 pm at the DOLBY THEATRE in Los Angeles, and is timed just days ahead of the May 15 series finale, offering fans one last chance to celebrate the legacy of a global phenomenon with its beloved stars in person, and preview the finale before anyone else.

After eight acclaimed seasons, Outlander, Starz and Sony Pictures Television's epic and thrilling romantic drama, will conclude its storied run on May 15. In the final season, Jamie and Claire, portrayed by renowned leads Sam Heughan and Caitríona Balfe, have returned to Fraser's Ridge and reunited with the MacKenzies, but a revelation in Frank’s latest book that predicts Jamie’s death threatens the quiet life they’ve so desperately sought after, and they’re once again left to grapple with the question, “Can you change fate?”

Before the conversation with Balfe, Heughan, and Roberts takes place, guests will journey back to where it all started with a screening of the first episode, “Sassenach,” in which Clarie is transported to 1743 and meets Jamie for the first time. After the conversation there will be a special sneak-peek look at the series finale before it airs May 15 on the STARZ app, as well as across all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms.

This can’t-miss event takes place during Paley’s milestone 50th Anniversary year, which has celebrated the grand openings of The Paley Archive at the Beverly Hills Public Library and the newly renovated state-of-the-art theaters and reimagined public spaces at The Paley Museum in New York. A New York icon, The Paley Museum continues to serve as a vibrant cultural hub and a welcoming gathering place for all New Yorkers, with upcoming programs that include World Cup Watch Parties presented in both English and Spanish, a dynamic commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary, live podcast tapings, songwriter and artist showcases, and much more.
