Deets: Prominent New York real estate titans are set to rock out for charity on June 6 at the 8th annual Real Estate Rockers in Relief concert at Irving Plaza. The concert will raise awareness and funds for NECHAMA, an organization that assists communities across the country in long-term domestic disaster recovery, including continued local relief efforts in the tri-state area following Hurricane Sandy.
Founded in 2012 by Carl Schwartz, co-chair of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP’s global real estate practice, and David Lowenfeld of DHL Holdings, the event has raised $650,000 for NECHAMA since its launch. Schwartz, who has played bass guitar since he was 12, has jammed with the likes of Bob Weir, originally of the Grateful Dead. He currently plays with rock band Normal by Day. Lowenfeld, a vocalist and keyboardist, is a member of the rock band Midlife.
The show brings together talent from renowned real estate companies such as Madison Capital, Taconic Investment Partners, ABS Partners Real Estate, L&L Holding Company, HFF, ABC Properties, Kushner Companies, Cadence Property Group and Chicago Title Insurance Company, to name a few. Check out some video highlights from the 2018 concert.
