Deets: Pumpkin Point, Governors Island’s annual pumpkin patch and fall festival, returns to Nolan Park for 2025! Visitors are invited to pick out their own pumpkins October 25 & 26, 2025, from 10AM to 5PM. Please limit pumpkins to one per person per household, and plan to bring your own tote bag/reusable bag to hold your pumpkins.
Costumes are highly encouraged, with trick-or-treating at Nolan Park’s historic houses on both days (as supplies last). Governors Island food vendors will be on-site with fall-themed food and drink available for purchase.
Pumpkin Point is rain or shine. Please be advised, a large number of visitors is expected for Pumpkin Point, so please leave extra time to board and ride the ferry – we recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before your scheduled departure. The Trust for Governors Island will operate special event ferries from Red Hook/Atlantic Basin and Brooklyn Bridge Park/Pier 6 on October 25 & 26, 2025, to accommodate anticipated heavy visitorship.
