The LEGO® Botanical Garden Pop-Up will delight visitors of all ages on May 10–11, 17–18, and 23–25, 2025, from 10AM-6PM. The vibrant flower truck blooms with the LEGO Botanicals collection on display—designed to spark joy and inspire unexpected surprises for those you love. Explore the power of connection and creativity with a hands-on make-and-take experience, while supplies last.
On May 10 and 11, 2025, from 12–5 p.m., Mother’s Day Garden Celebration offers a weekend of fun. Make NYBG’s Daffodil Hill your own backyard and bring the whole family together to enjoy local food truck options, play an assortment of family-friendly lawn games, craft a gift for Mom, and get your face painted with whimsical designs. Music and collage activities are presented by local vinyl DJ collective Uptown Vinyl Supreme and Bronx Community Collage.
On Saturday, May 17, from 12–5 p.m., Spring Uncorked offers the perfect pairing of springtime beauty and local wines. With the iconic backdrop of the LuEsther T. Mertz Library and its rows of tulip trees, it’s the perfect wine-lovers afternoon, featuring local wineries from the Hudson Valley, Brooklyn, and Long Island. Sip samples, relax to live music, learn the science behind making great wines, and kick back with crafts and games. While you’re here, grab lunch for sale from a line-up of the region’s finest local food vendors.
During opening weekend of NYBG's floral and contemporary art exhibition Van Gogh's Flowers, Friday, May 23 (NYBG Members' Day), Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, step into a vibrant flower truck blooming with the LEGO® Botanicals collection on display—designed to spark joy and inspire unexpected surprises for those you love. Visitors can immerse themselves in the LEGO Botanical Garden pop-up and explore the power of connection and creativity with a hands-on make-and-take experience including a mini-Vincent van Gogh sunflower creation.
