Deets: On Friday, July 4, Macy’s will launch the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks® from the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and four surrounding barges in the East River in the Seaport District, painting the New York City skyline with an unforgettable display of light and sound. In its 49th edition, Macy’s will deliver an unforgettable summer celebration as the largest Independence Day celebration in the nation.
Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks is an experience conceived, designed and produced by Macy’s as part of a commitment to create immersive and memory-making moments for customers. Since 1976, Macy’s has produced the must-see pyrotechnic display featuring dynamic effects full of light, sound and color, synced to an original curated musical score.
Performers: In addition to Academy Award winner and Broadway star Ariana DeBose as the evening's host, this year's Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks special will feature a spectacular lineup of country legends, rock stars, and more.
Before the fireworks begins, you can expect to see performances from Jonas Brothers, Eric Church, Lenny Kravitz, Ava Max, Keke Palmer, and Trisha Yearwood.
During the fireworks display, you'll hear a 25-minute musical score produced by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and James Poyser, inspired by the "enduring spirit of America." DeBose will also sing live during the moving musical score, which will highlight "themes of community, resiliency, and shared connection."

Public viewing will be available from any area with an unobstructed view of the sky above the lower East River with the show launched from the Brooklyn Bridge and four surrounding barges.

**** New Yorkers looking to secure their spots early for the Brooklyn Bridge Park location only can text “FIREWORKS” directly to Mayor Adams at 917-909-2288 right now as he will be giving the first 2,500 texters four free tickets each before the general release to the public. ****
**** Tickets will be available beginning at 8:30 AM, Tuesday, July 1, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis online. Each person may request up to four tickets for Brooklyn Bridge Park or up to two tickets for The Seaport viewing area in Manhattan. ****
