Deets: Major League Pickleball, in partnership with CityPickle, has joined Fitness @ Grand Central in hosting Pickleball in the Hall, presented by DoorDash, from Friday, August 8-Sunday, August 10, 2025. The event celebrates National Pickleball Day (August 8), Pickleball’s 60th Birthday (August 2025) and Major League Pickleball Finals taking place August 22-24, at CityPickle at Wollman Rink.
As a part of Fitness @ Grand Central, the Terminal’s new ongoing series of public fitness events, the public will be able to schedule time to play on the regulation pickleball court and participate in fun, courtside activities throughout the weekend, free of charge. CityPickle pros and ambassadors will staff the area for the entire event.
Later in the month, on August 21st, CityPickle will also host CityPicklePalooza at Union Square, in partnership with MLP - an all day pickleball extravaganza in the heart of NYC. The event will feature an opportunity to meet & greet with the world’s best pickleball players, a chance for attendees to “beat the pros” in the ultimate pickleball match, free nonprofit clinics for children, singles tournaments, and more.
